Christmas by the Numbers
On Saturday 23rd, over 14 hours, I:
Travelled on 4 trains
and 4 underground trains;
Visited 7 relatives (3 unexpected)
and 1 in-law (twice)
in 4 houses
with their 1 dog
and 2 tortoises (1 sick, 1 well).
There was a cloud of smoke in the living room at lunchtime
(when we couldn't find how to switch on the extractor fan on the cooker)
and a cloud of steam at Kings Cross in the evening
(when a steam train came in!)
24 hours later I have
received 225 pieces of email
of which 215 were spam.
And today Irest dash around like a mad thing
then have dinner with friends in the Kingston.
7 years ago today, my father died :-(
11 years ago the day after tomorrow, I started seeing Simon :-)
