Shopping

Brr, that was cold. I fair got a headache from the cold air. That'll teach me to go out on a bright, sunny December afternoon without a scarf and gloves.

Success in present shopping; have to do some more as my Mum is visiting on Thursday but have to ascertain what might be a good present. The queue in Borders when I went past stretched from the tills on one side of the shop nearly to the tills on the other side, which put me off going for a browse.

My headphones finally fell apart today. They've been falling apart for years, I've tried to replace them twice but the replacements have been tinny pieces of carp so I've hung on to the most decrepit headphones in the world. Then one of the hair-thin wires they were hanging by broke, and I lost my music. I spent all of £14.99 on a replacement this time, and I'm pleased with the sound quality, but the phone fell out of my ear approximately three times per song plus every time I turned my head. I hope I get used to them.

Busy

That's lots of cards written. Now to solve the Travelling Salesman problem (I might cheat and end up at the far side of the Citi 7 bus route for ease of returning to Start).

EDIT: Oh, excellent! The Green Dragon bridge links the terribly-far-away Green End people with the terribly-far-away Newmarket Road people in a marvellously efficient way :-)

I was going to be smug about how I've wrapped loads of things as well, but I've just turned and seen a bar of chocolate (destined for gifthood) in my toiletries bag. How did it get in there?
