But where is
Gosh, the lifts at work are crap. If you are on the ground floor, and press the buttons 2,1,3, it goes to floor 2 first. Then stops. And waits until someone presses another button.
If you are waiting for a lift and press the call button, and the lift is moving, the button lights up. When the lift stops moving the light de-lights. The lift is not at your floor yet - the de-lighting is just to signify that the lift is now available to be called, and that you should now press the button again (quickly, before anyone else does).
We had noticed that the pot of pansies on the front doorstep was flourishing, but the one in the back garden was very thin. Hmm (we thought) - must be the different amounts of sun they get, or maybe it's the squirrels digging in the back garden. Until MC returned home early from work to see a great big rabbit sat in the pot, eating the heads off the flowers. Grrr! (But cute).
