Anyhow - the heating is on, but the temperature doesn't stay very stable. Up and down it goes. My body is warm, but my fingers are cold, but I have a large bowl of noodles to warm me up.
The pub would be warm, but I have scarcely any voice left. I might have left it in Walsall. I wasn't quite reduced to tapping once for "yes", twice for "no", when my mother in law rang, but I'm not up to being heard in a pub.
Ho hum.
