We don't usually shop at Tesco, but had accrued some £16-worth of loyalty vouchers over the last three years so went for a store-cupboard stocking-up session.
When we got to the Quorn section, there was a pack of the reddest, juiciest Aberdeen Angus steaks you can imagine, sitting there on top of the Quorn. What was this - someone wandering round the shop, thinking "What shall I have for dinner? These steaks look nice. Ah! Quorn!!! Great! I can't be bothered to put the steaks back in the right place, so I'll just leave them here." Or an act of aggression/impishness towards vegetarians? *Sigh*.
I got a bit carried away in the fruit/veg aisles, as they have much more range than the Co-op. I came away with dragon fruit, sharon fruit, okra and pak choi (which I could of course get in my local Chinese grocery - doh!).
And I acknowledged my new addiction. I found they sell Diet Red Bull in boxes of 12 cans - and bought one. I'm still only on one can a day, so I don't think I'm that bad.
