A Bug's Life

Things that made me happy today were spotting car numbers 453 and 454. In the evening I went to play boardgames at Michael winolj's; we played Perikles, which involved a lot of vying for a position of influence in cities then using your city's forces to engage in battle. And we all talked a lot of nonsense, which was fun.

* Go out and buy Cold&Flu remedies. cough, cough, ow.

EDIT: Aw, the Internet Fairies (i.e. tamaranth) have just brought me Cold medication :-) Hoo boy, though, this Beechams All-in-One Liquid Pocket Pack tastes like drinking Vicks Vaporub...

It's been a low key day, dragged lower by emerging lurgi, but just now as I look around the study I see the gerbils curled up asleep in their tank, and the cat curled up asleep next to the gerbils, so sound asleep that he's not actually facing them, and this is nice and cosy.

Went for tea with groliffe and Caro, and there was lots of dairy-free cake :-)
