Dear BFI IMAX,
You have a lovely big screen and are very fine, but when I phone in advance to specifically check what time the 9pm Dark Knight finishes because I have to work out if I can catch my train home, and you say 11:30, it would be nice if this were true. I ducked out at 11:30 after the ferries and the clowns/doctors, but think there was a good 15 minutes to go yet. However, you did show trailers for Star Trek and Watchmen which did redeem you somewhat.
No love,
Me.
Dear Arch One Bar and Grill, Waterloo,
You looked a bit chain-y from the front, but inside you were a super dining experience, with snug chairs, attentive waitstaff, and free bruschetta (I didn't quite work out why - I think you had been planning to give us a complementary soup but it had cream in so you made nommy garlicky bruschetta instead without being asked). The sardines were very tasty, and a nice change from standard menus.
Love and big tips,
Me.
Dear Arts Picturehouse,
It's your turn on Sunday. *rubs hands*
