Holiday

Watching the day go by an hour or so at a time.
I have at least done the laundry, made 3-vegetable chicken for lunch, and played through ClueSweeper at maviscruet's productivity-reducing suggestion. It's like a cross between MineSweeper and Cluedo! Now to get out of bed :-)

Sad hamster

I shall see how Flash copes with being an Only Hamster. I was in the room with the dwarf hamsters, heard a single affronted squeak, and when I checked up on them an hour later Dasher had died. She had been the nervous one, quick to get stressed when handled, I assume it was something quick. Roborovskis are usually very sociable, I'm not sure what to do when one is bereaved at - what - 6-9 months? They can live to 4 years.

Also, the "no cheese please" pizza yesterday arrived with cheese on, and I ate it (om nom nom!), and my joints have been steadily more painful till I'm in a 'can't walk 200m' state. Humph. Guess I still can't eat cheese! Walked 7 miles on Friday, for comparison.
