Whee! 145 photos of my 1994 China holiday are scanned. It was trickier doing Grandma's (I went with her and my Mum), as they were stuck slightly askew on oversized card for a presentation to the WI. Lots of twisting and scanner wrangling!
I did all of Grandma's and 50 of mine (more straightforward) yesterday. They came out at around 1-1.4 MB each. Today I scanned the other 40 of mine, same settings, and they're 3-400 KB each. I open similar shots in Photoshop (one from yesterday, one today), they're the same number of pixels. Any idea why this is?
They could still benefit from some level/sharpness tweaking, I never got a good feel for that, and I am limited by an overcast couple of weeks and the camera not being great so the pictures lack sharp focus.
But - done! At last :-) The remaining photo albums are in a stack measuring (in cm) 50x35x30.
