1. I tried the one-minute bread
rmc28 posted about a while ago, and it worked pretty well! I am suffering a bit today and reminded of previous joint pain after bread experiences. I might try an experiment where I do the thing with a bowl of hot water and a towel over my head, but it would be warm water and yeast and sugar. Are there any reasons why this is a really stupid idea? I forget my yeast biochemistry.
2. Sometimes your boss asks for something and you say it will take 2-3 weeks. Yesterday she needed something which took 45 seconds. I like being able to turn a job around that quickly.
3. After much faffing I have cancelled my Discworld convention hotel room. I was bracing myself for hoops and long phone conversations, but it took less than 30 seconds to click the reservation web link, enter my details, click "cancel booking" then "Yes". All done!
Now, how to clean the kitchen in less than a minute after making bread and roasting a duck?
