bugshaw at 06:06pm on 27/03/2011Big hamster gerbil cleanout today, using peat and straw the gerbils don't need to be cleaned that often but it is quite a job. Nervous Gerbil has calmed down a bit, and let me hold him for a couple of minutes, for the first time ever. Usually it's 10-15 seconds (if that) and a suicide leap for freedom. He's quite sweet, and much lighter than Fat Gerbil.
Microsoft Office is back on the desktop (thanks,![[livejournal.com profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/external/lj-userinfo.gif)
ffutures!), and I spent a while trying to work out why the hard drive was thrashing so much. It's been going on for a while, and was pretty annoying. findfast.exe was busy indexing my rarely-used files over and over again, it is switched off now and the computer is much happier.
The laundry is done, and the census is in the post box.
My plans for next week ideally involve Geek Night on Monday, Tai Chi on Tuesday, Thursday Pub on, um, Thursday, people for dinner on Saturday and a trip to London on Sunday. Gosh! That should make up for when the back was bad and I didn't get out.
