Escaping my roots

My family wouldn't recognise me. Some might even disown me. I have tidied and decluttered so much that I have a shelf that is not entirely full. And half a cupboard stands empty. I come from stock where one patriarch was heard to exclaim that he would not have any horizontal surfaces in the house, as they got covered in heaps of stuff.

Still not a minimalist.
