From some weekes ago:

Nearly done! I have done primer/undercoating, waiting, recoating, waiting, painting, waiting, looking at Polycell Squeeze & Seal and waiting for my wrists to recover from too much typing.
Today I did the frame sealant.
"Work tube well between fingers.
Squeeze directly into the gap as a continuous single bead.
Easy control for a perfect seal"
But I worked it and worked it, microwaved it, poked it with a chopstick, and eventually got some sealant to come out v-e-r-y s-l-o-w-l-y by putting the tube on the ground and pumping up and down on it with my feet. And getting grout on my socks. After a while I had a couple of inches and picked it up carefully and poked it into the gap. Not nearly enough. I tried again with the nozzle off, but still no joy (or just slow joy). I ended up slitting its belly like a haggis, and scooping out sealant with a spoon.
Job done, though! I'm sure it was not supposed to take that long.
More painting next, the sealant being dark brown and not matching its grey neighbour.
