Humph, had my three days of lemon and have mild aches throughout. Nowhere near as bad as wheat or dairy, but looking like the lemons were responsible. I'll leave a few days to recover, then move on to corn, and try the other citrus at the end of the reintroduction (if it ever ends! I'm a week shy of four months now.) Perhaps it's just that nine lemons in three days is a lot of lemon, and I'd be okay with juice of half a lemon a couple of times a week. V. tiresome.
EDIT 2pm: They were mild. They are becoming mighty. Gah. Ankles and bunions and ulnas, oh my. An evening of lying quietly watching DVDs looms, instead of going out dancing. Piglets.
I'm erring against the coeliac testing, the science geek in me wants to know whether it is what I have, the pragmatic one who has to live most of the rest of the life thinks why test if the treatment (gluten avoidance) is the same? The killer added weight on the decision is not only is there 4-6 weeks of gluten consumption followed by a blood test, there then follows a biopsy which can take 2-3 months to arrange during which you have to continue eating gluten. a) ow, and b) ow.
