Call me slow, but I hadn't realised that there was a real Mt Doom and it was Ruapeho. After all, when I visited it, way back in the 1970s, it was just cold and kinda dank and grey -- but of course, it has since blown its top and shown what it can do by way of volcanic dramatics...
