Banana Disappearance - Hamster Suspected

In the utility room, of all places. If it was Brownie that ate the banana, not a mouse or giant spider or hungry flatmate. The bad news is that I have checked the room thoroughly and the only remaining hiding place is under the built-in cupboards, which have a hamster-sized gap between the door and the bit underneath! I have left some more banana pieces in the hope of tempting him out; otherwise it's screwdriver time. I hope he's not gone off exploring where the water pipes go to/come from. Grr!
