I don't know why I'm so upset by this - we'd only had her a day. I expect it's the bottlesyringe-feeding that's done it. I am giving the hamster tank and accessories a good clean and disinfect, and I hope to be putting them back together + sawdust + Silver soon. Or back into storage :-( I don't fancy getting another new hamster quickly, even if it needs rescuing, even if it is guaranteed healthy.
