My 2010, as recorded by the first line of every post. The book logging makes it less interesting, so the first sentence that isn't part of a list of books is also in.

January: PSA: Richard Herring's Hitler Moustache tour is coming to The Junction on March 26th (a Friday).
February: I think I'm feeling stressed about work.
March: If I start dying my hair, that will totally make the Freecyclers come.
April: Ohh ohh, I've had a brilliant idea! If April 8th-15th went like this:
May: I took part in the Social contact survey, which said that if I were a childrens' TV character, then I would be a Windy Miller (from Camberwick Green)!
June: I tend to wait a while before trusting the gas and electric companies with a direct debit instead of bills, as they often go a bit bonkers.
July: I didn't have much luck with food yesterday. I wondered about the fish, but wasn't convinced it was off till I cooked it in a risotto.
August: Books read (40-47) More than usual, the dodgy back at the beginning of the month allowed for plenty of reading and DVD watching.
September: I left work at 5:15 having finished a chunk of stuff, and was home by 5:45. It feels like having a half day!
October: Books read (53-58) I Kill Giants was the best read (young girl whose fantasy life as a fearsome giant killer helps her deal with school bullies and Something Bad at home).
November: Mostly of interest for those of you who have ever said "Bridget, have you ever been tested for this?"
December: Working from home. Problem with VPN connection.

If I set a word to the year it would be 'overwork'. Surely it can't stay "especially busy" for pretty much a whole year? Oh, it can. In 2011 I would dearly like to shift the balance of out-of-office time closer to pleasant activities than merely recovering.

And I read books! And pay gas bills! And eat food! Just like a real grownup. I wonder what proportion of my days are quotidian?
