I am waiting for the hamster to wake up, so I can clean her tank.

This could take some time.

Goodness: what delicate manners! And I bet she doesn't appreciate you.

Not so much as Barry appreciates you :-(

Hah! It's all what my mother calls cupboard love. He has never been a lap-cat until this week, when suddenly the house is chilly and a warm lap has great attraction, as does a bed at night with a big hot human in it. Also he is conspicuously affectionate & sweet in the hungry hours, before breakfast and teatime; elsewise, I am some kind of animated jaw-and-claw exerciser. And he's blatant about it; he knows I know, and he just doesn't care. It works anyway, so why should he?

Hamster went to the same training school then. If I want her to wake up, I just need to rattle the box of chocolate drops...

Your hamster can breathe underwater?

Not that kind of tank, silly!

It has a swivel-mounted gun...

I think the idea of a hamster-sized military tank is cute. Hee!

Developed for use by the Desert Rats, I believe.

Hamsters are originally from the deserts around Syria, so now I have a image of one with a bushy mustache like Asad in the review stand on a May Day parade.

Hiya - just wondering if you're planning to stay in London afer B-Movie and if so where? I'm only asking cos Christina is interested in coming but uncertain where she could stay - I already have crash space booked but there's only room for me.
