TAFFlicious

Hurrah! My box of TAFF goodies has just arrived from Toronto. It all seems to have survived okay except the pack of sour cream and onion flavour Crickettes, which must have had an egg of some kind in it - there is a small larva which is not part of the intended insect candy!

EDIT: Ew! It's alive! It's wriggling! It was probably illegal to import!!

Even if I were the kind of person to buy such a product the knowledge that you found a live one in it is enough to put me off them forever. And ever. I'll eat insects that are freshly cooked by people who know what they're doing (fresh cicada nymphs are good), but never from a package.

There wasn't a live one in it when I bought it back in July...
