Would anyone like a box of very interesting-looking handmade chocolates, containing fresh cream which means a) I can't eat them and b) whoever does eat them should do by Dec 26?

Bonus points if you live close enough by for me to drop them round.

EDIT: Anyone?
EDIT II: Eight comments later and they're still available...
EDIT III: And they're gone!

Is it the thought that counts? :-)

Oh yes, it was the lovely thought of Simon's boss. He posted Simon a 1-hour phonecard, and me a box of chocolates 'cos I'm all alone over Christmas (he doesn't know about the no-dairy). And they are fascinating-looking chocolates! Really interesting ingredients and combinations.

Yum. They'd make a fine APA submission. If only you could convert them to .pdf format and send 'em over!

I could scan them in!

Or I could eat them and write a delightful APAzine all about a) the chocolates and b) how ill I got...

Plokta cabal will taste test 'em and put 'em in a HUGO AWARD WINNING fanzine.

FF, selflessly willing to help a fellow fan in need.

Won't they make a bit of a mess if you squash them between the pages of a fanzine?

But how do they get to you before they go off?

Bugger.
Hadn't thought of that...

If I could get to them, I'd be delighted; as is, the Plokta cabal are much better situated for pickup.

If you're desperate to shift 'em, you could take them to 59 Panton St and give them to Michelle, with my love...?

I could at that! She's not going to be away for a week, or allergic to anything?

Not so far as I know; let me check...

I'll be out for a while - Simon's just called and in the process reminded me that I was planning to get Xmas presents for my mum and Grandma...

She's there! Except for an afternoon jaunt on Xmas Day, which I take to be immaterial. And she says she's allergic to lots of things, all of them airborne; so unless you were planning to hurl the chocolates at her, I think we're safe there too.

If you were inclined to do this, it would be very kind & generous of you; and if you'd like a book or anything, just say...

(PS - she is Michelle Spring the crime novelist, if that means anything...?)
