I've found all the papers I need for Monday. It only took 3 hours to go through the heap. Of course, one vital paper was the second-to-last I turned over.

As always, going through papers relating to my father's will is something I can do cheerfully and pragmatically - for about 20 minutes at a time. Then I feel sad, and cut-up that I couldn't help more when he was ill, I feel the weight again of the unpaid invoices from my solicitors, and bitter with every letter I find that outlines more and more delays to the resolution of probate and the administration of my father's estate.

Want hug. (Hint to [livejournal.com profile] major_clanger)

Will settle for sleep.

Wonder if that'll happen?

S'funny, that was what I was going to say in your "how could I make your life better" thing. Thanks!

Anything you'd like?

[laughs]

Not that I can think of right now, but if anything springs to mind, let me know.

You're doing well. Keep it up. Good luck with the remainder.

Nasty situation. Please accept lots of virtual purring, snuggling, washing and general affection from small Iskander kitten (aged 4 months).

Cute! Nice kitten! Perhaps I could visit said kitten when we move to Cambridge? (Unless it is a virtual kitten)

It would make a nice change from real baby gerbil attention, which currently consists of it getting gooey baby rice on its paws then walking up my t-shirt.

Oh! [livejournal.com profile] major_clanger (who is, if you hadn't figured it out, my husband) has just called - Number 6.1 is now an ex-gerbil. Poor thing. She was only a little scrap, her five siblings were quickly out-growing her. Sad now.

You are very welcome to visit Iskander when you move: he's much too solid and too wriggly to be virtual. His 'big sister' Ah Moon likes company, too, and is guaranteed to shed on you affectionately.
Sad news about your babt gerbil: I hope the rest are flourishing.

I think I have problems. And then they seem insignificant. I send you a BIG HUG, and hope for a happy smile next time we meet.
