A Bug's Life

bellinghman and bellinghwoman (person#4 dropped out) came round for games and Chinese takeaway tonight - Tantrix and Space Munchkin. I won at Munchkin (hee hee hee!), though I was all prepared to deal the death blow to a Level 7 Space Opera Singer, when one of my colleagues opponents made it The Last Of Its Race (+10). From Another Dimension (+10). And I Am Your Father (+10). I Miniaturized it (-5) but even with my Bananananafofaser I could not defeat a Level 32 monster! I was surprised and delighted a couple of rounds later to draw Great Cthulhu and best him, going up two levels at once and winning the game at Level 11.

We didn't play quite properly - it took a while to work out how to use the Trap cards. I read the rules right through and couldn't see where the Room cards use was described, but there were additional rules in the expansion pack which we found when packing up.

I would like to have a session soon where we play something a bit more involved, like Starfarers of Catan (I miss my rockets!).
