Nice Frock!

I went shopping and actually found some clothes that fitted and looked nice! And then I woke up and found it was all a dream. Bah!

The fact I was in a shopping mall in Australia, where I had gone on a whim, should have been a clue...

Argh! But was the dream detailed enough for you to remember what the clothes looked like, so you could search them out IRL?

Alas, in real life the clothes don't fit :-(

Re: Will this do instead? (answer, no, of course not, but..)

It seems to be friends-locked anyhow...

Ogh, silly me, that didn't occur to me - what it said was...

If anyone happens to be in central Cambridge and wants to stock up on classic SF in the next few weeks, then check out the basement of Galloway and Porter on Sidney Street. They're a more academic version of the remaindered book shops found in most towns, and their basement has paperbacks for £1 each, and currently quite a range of SF. I picked up Ubik, The Sirens of Titan, Lord of Light, Gateway, The Stars My Destination and The Fifth Head of Cerberus earlier this week, all as new. It's a bit sad that these books are ending up in a remainder shop, but nice for those who've never got around to buying them before. (There are academic remainders upstairs, hardbacks on the ground floor, and damaged stock in the entrance.)

I don't know why Australia is so much on my mind these days. I've never been there. (NZ, yes)
