Oh wowowow!! Hotel Chocolat, since I last looked at the site three years ago, has listed a range of chocolate suitable for vegans!! (No direct URL; Browse by: Person) And there are 11 things on it! (Including Turkish Delight, which kind of misses the point) Mmmm, chocolate. I will now be distracted for most of the morning, which is a shame, as I have to be in work...

I can have an Easter Egg, for the first time in years. I have set Simon onto browsing :-)

Ah, yes, HC. I ppointed [livejournal.com profile] feorag at them some months ago, and she was fairly complimentary about them, given that they're a general retailer rather than a vegan specialist. They do have a pretty enlightened "this has alcohol in it" "a hazelnut praline is made of nuts, you know" and "vegan friendly" captioning.

(However, what I really want from HC is the DB9. As in Angus's Aston Martin.)

(OK, no, what I'd really like is to be able to buy chocolate from their offices here. I don't want to have to wait for the post, or trog all the way to Petty Cury to visit a shop.)

Hmm, it might be an idea to suggest a 'dairy free' option on that menu. There may be some items that would get on that that aren't on the vegan menu.
