Hang on, did that make sense? It depends whether you were referring to The Moog or The Divine Comedy (quite different things).

The Moog was very popular in the music scene in the '80s so yes, it made sense.

Mr. Moog is now involved (at some level) in the recent software only versions of his seminal synthesiser, which pretty much drove the electro-pop and prog-rock sides of the 80's, at least until the Yamaha SY85 and DX7s came along. Before the Yammys there was only the Moog, the Fairlight CMI (10's of thousands of pounds worth of kit), the Prophet, the Juno and not a lot else (oh, all right, the Roland SH101 and similar, and the Emu-lator)

But enough of sad synth geekery...
