OMG!!1!!1 is punishing me for wasting time making image macros when I should have been working.

[livejournal.com profile] major_clanger describes the escape and retrieval attempts here.

We have narrowed down her location to underneath the back of one of the Billy bookcases we keep hardbacks on; we've blocked one exit and are waiting her out at the other (with cunningly positioned Treat and box of familiar-smelling hamster bedding).

[livejournal.com profile] live_gerbil: lol!

As long as it wasn't a radioactive bobbin, I don't think she needs more super powers.

The hamster ball reminds me of the capsule from the film, Contact
So your hamster may have traveled down a worm-hole. Of course, she will return seemingly instantaneously. (Hint: check for sand in the bottom of the hamster ball)

Yes - phew! She did not come out from the bookcase, and started making alarming noises of turning carpet into fluffy nesting material, so I moved the bookcase while Simon sat point to catch her. It would be the bookcase with the most and heaviest books on, of course...
