Interestingly, there's no way to distinguish those who leave all the answers unchecked and submit their poll from those who never press the submit button at all.
But no, I suspect those are just pandering to the tickybox brigade, those who can never have enough of them. I've seen them breaking into electronics stores late at night, firing up PCs and going into Control Panel just to get their daily fix.
A radio button set might work, though, in determining how many submissions were made, since it should be possible (I assume) to ensure that one option at least is always set.
There are a few of those I find interesting enough I checked; overall, it's not a poll/survey that grabs me, and I won't answer it even if you do repost it.
