Plus extra rabbits: You know how on the first day of the month, the first thing you should say is "White rabbits, white rabbits, white rabbits" to ensure good luck for the month? The first thing I said today was "Everybody's gonna die, 'cos it's the end of the world." I guess this means I will be earwormed by Zombina and the Skeletones all month (could be worse!)

And free gift of neighbour whinging: Mowing your lawn at 00:30?? Are you crazy??? I had to get up to check, and found it was only their vacuum cleaner. But boy, did it sound like a lawnmower.

Don't worry. Clunkies was the brainchild of someone who wanted to create a fake fetish and then see how long it took actual real people (who weren't in on the joke) to jump on the bandwagon. Answer: Not very long at all, worryingly.
