Is the cover process colour and therefore does it need descreening when you scan?

Descreening is set on already, thanks. The yellow (autumn) and blue (summer) issues scan fine, I'll whomp through them first. I can either clean the green (spring) issues up in Photoshop, or try to learn how to set a colour curve in the scan.
