You can probably fix it in your scanning software (look for the hidden 'professional' settings, which as far as I can tell mean not so much settings for a professional as settings for anyone with an IQ above that of fuzzy felt). If you can't fix it in your scanning software, you are about to discover why Photoshop colour correction is such a black art. Personally, I'd try again with a different scanner.

It's extremely likely that what is currently happening is that your scanner is 'correcting' a non-existent colour cast on one of the covers.
