I was still finding feathers escaping from my super duvet 5 years on, and latching themselves into the carpet. The problem with a really nice bed is that everything else is a disappointment, especially the Eastercon and Novacon hotels, where I wanted to put duvets under rather than over me to even out the lumps.

I can picture my 1200 pocket spring mattress in its container in Slough as I lie on my hard bamboo mat ...
