Who thought that one up? It's so quaintly pre-post-consumerist now.

I have Strangers In Paradise books 2 and 3. Despite having book 1 on order for a year (some years ago) it never got delivered to the shop, so I never saw a copy. Does anyone have a copy I could borrow, then I can finally read my two books and decide whether to keep them or declutter them?

Yes, I've got book one. Are these the Complete Strangers in Paradise collections? If so I wouldn't mind borrowing book 3.

I think so - it's this book, It's a Good Life!. Happy to do a temporary exchange :-)

Ah, no that's the second half of the Complete Strangers in Paradise vol. 2 which I've already got (the first half is I Dream of You), but luckily I do have the book 1 you are looking for.

Collecting SiP is tricky because there are the collected editions, the hardback 'Complete' editions, and the pocket books collections. I think if I want to get the 'Complete's I'm going to have to nab things on abebooks whenever somebody has them for a sensible price, and not worry about the order I get them.

I have all the Trade Paperbacks, but they're not the same as the collected editions/books. Unfortunately, the first half of the collection is in France, second half here, but I'm happy to bring over if needed.

I got very confused about all the different editions. Maybe once I've read some books I'll be clearer... That's a very kind offer! I expect there's someone nearer by, in Cambridge or Edinburgh, whom I could borrow from.
