bugshaw at 10:23am on 27/09/2008Having got four boxes of clothes etc down from the loft a few days ago, yesterday I sorted them and put them away in cupboards and warbrobes. I ended up spending a thrilling half-hour sorting my coathangers. Argghhh! At least now all my clothes are on hangers, I've selected some good spares, and sorted the rest into heaps. Now, what to do with extraneous hangers? My first plan is to ask at charity shops.
Something else I discovered while doing an audit of bed linen is that after all the separation and going to Edinburgh and coming back again and letting the house out and getting it back again I have:
one (1) duvet
one (1) duvet cover, different size from duvet
nine (9!!!) pillows
no (0) pillowcases
I've been wrapping the poor pillows in old t-shirts, but it's a little embarrassing to be living in such student squalor and I ought to do something about it.
