Hiya,

It's the last day of my course and I'm walking a lot better, but won't be able to get from taxi-outside-Kings-Cross to train-to-Cambridge without assistance, and I can't get from the place where the taxi would drop me off to the place where I can ask for assistance without, well, assistance.

Are there any Londoners who might be able to help me out with this?
The ideal plan would be to meet me at Pemberton Row (off Fetter Lane) around 5pm, carry my bags and hail a cab to KX, come with me and carry them off at the other end. Otherwise, meeting me at KX should be okay.

I'm sure I'll find a way to manage otherwise, but it'll be slower and more painful and take a couple of days mobility off me.

TIA for offers! [I'm working in a basement with no phone signal]

In one functional (albeit slow-moving) piece, thanks to the generosity of [livejournal.com profile] adela_terrell and [livejournal.com profile] la_marquise_de_ with their time and carrying ability! Really, I can't thank you enough :-)

[livejournal.com profile] ozymandias_cat is happy to have a door-opening minion again, and I let him out and in again and out and in again eight times in the first half-hour I was back. I think he's reassured now that the door works.

The course was great, very full, and I want to apply a lot of it when I get back to work. It will solve a lot of niggling problems with my reports. I will miss the espressos though :-( I was managing quite well on two a day.

But now I'm home, and looking forward to a weekend of primarily lying on the sofa.
