I finished watching The Middleman last night, which was good and made me laugh a lot. Pity it got cancelled.
I went through a big stack'o'paperwork at the same time, and thought I'd got 2/3 through my tax return - then I remembered about letting the house out for Actual Cash Money Including Profit in that year. *goes off to look in a whole 'nother place for a new load of receipts* I had a lot more enthusiasm for this when it didn't so closely resemble my day job. Still, I'm collecting stuff for 2008/09 at the same time, so next year's should be easier (apart from the bit where it takes a couple of months for P60s to come through by which time I've gotten distracted by something else).
Ah, my rich and beautiful life, like a Scintillating Jewelled Scuttling Crab that has been smashed with a mallet by a Vogon. Still, the pies were good and I'm seeing Watchmen next week. Also, I'm taking the week before Easter off - off like on leave, off - travelling up to Eastercon on the Thursday, and have preparations to do for that, but hope to make it down to London to see that Tate Modern Constructivism exhibition I couldn't make it to before, or maybe see my mother (who has a pair of tickets for a Vinopolis win tasting). Or something. Or anything! Or walk to Waterbeach, or put together a fanzine, or ...
