I am minded to do some writing of TAFF report. Is there anything you would particularly like to hear about? Do you have any questions? Would you like a section for your fanzine, and if so do you have a topic/region, word count, and/or deadline in mind?

Oh, we'd like something for Plokta!

If you have any amusing technology encounters, or moose anecdotes, they'd be especially welcome!

Well, there was this guy I met on a plane... Do you have a date I should aim for?

That sounds like a fantastic beginning of a Plokta article!

End of September?

Ha! She beat me too it. You know, short, amusing, anecdotal, and in good time for the pre-Novacon issue.

Thanks!

Well, Ms B has very kindly offered to present an item on her trip for Novacon, so that will tie in nicely.

Very happy to have a section for Banana Wings. Word count: say up to 3,000 (but let us know if the bit you want to write seems to need a bit more).

Next issue is imminent, so for the one after that it would be good to have something by 10 October.

I always love to hear about all the interesting food that local hosts introduce the TAFF winner to!

Nah, that's a bit cheezy... I'll put something through Turbo :-)

Well, that'll be nice for those in Turbo.

Doh! I'm a fool, sorry.

Not at all. People here in Madison don't remember that I haven't been in Turbo for years... so I get them back by saying, "Oh, but didn't you see that in my LJ?"

:-D

I had cassava chips for the first time last night - they're like potato chips (US usage), but with a delicate sweetness and it's obvious they're made from a different vegetable. Delicious!

I think you should mention how cute our rats are.

They were delightfully cute, and I'm sorry I didn't get a good photo :-(
