Angel Cake

Oops! I sat down to sort through my collection of recipes and watch an episode of Angel, and appear to have sat through four in a row... Season 5, Spikey banter, Wesley's Evil Dad, and OMG Corporealisation at bloody last I was getting fed up with ineffectual Spike plus lots of heroicer-than-thou posturing (and sulking). Lorne's party was quite a fun episode. I've not seen Season 5 yet, and am determined to get to Smile Time.

My dietary habits have changed a lot since I started tearing out recipes, and I could discard a good 6" stack of paper. In addition I have found (and saved) lots of nice recipes for non-dairy chocolate cakes :-) I might be able to fiddle the profiteroles recipe if I'm lucky. But 200 variants on "fish pie" or "stir fry" or "stew" I can do without; I've been cooking long enough that I'm happy about what's good or interesting to chuck in.
