Sorry, though from your later post, I see you have a far more serious problem than I realised. You seem to be doing a pretty good job of dealing with the stupid fucking etc. Go get 'em.
Seriously, many non-IE browsers do block pop-ups (unless you clicked a link) and also make it much harder for malicious websites to infect you with nasty things like this.
