You presumably won't be at the Heffers event this year (Oct 30th), or I could've paid my tithe in person. It's not so far from E'burgh to N'cle, though; you could come down for ghost stories at Xmas, and go home with chocolate goodies...?

PS - dairy free spread? What is this dairy free spread of which you speak? *runs screaming for butter*

If you make it with butter I won't be eating my tithe. It gives me much joint ouchiness :-(

Oh, damn - sorry, forgot that. Oof. This brings us to an impasse. I'll just have to make two lots, I guess: pay multi-tithes, with discount for quantity...

Or you could let me know when you make some, and how much you make, and I could make a 10%-sized batch for myself :-)

*g* That is such a cool redefinition of a tithe... D'you suppose the govt would accept the same principle, for taxes? "Dear Chancellor, I've made X amount this year, so you need to go out and earn x amount for your share..."

I guess it's similar to the matching funds idea - you raise £x for your charitable project, and I'll match it.
