Packing

"Is the hamster still moving her bedding around?" people ask.

Why yes, yes she is. I came home to find all her paper bedding stacked into a heap in the corner of the tank. A heap 2"x2" cross section, and 4" high. Huh? a) How? and b) Why??

Because it was too hard to build a heap of approximate cross-section 3" x 3/4", and 6 3/4" high?
