A Bug's Life

Pictures from my recent visit to Manchester for a University reunion. Mostly buildings (red brick and modern) and public art. The city has changed a lot since I was last there, especially since the Arndale bombing. I'd turn a corner and get my bearings, then turn another and be faced with completely new buildings. Favourite new piece: the Tree of Remembrance.


EDIT: Wakes, bleary-eyed. "You were up late," says major_clanger. "I was resizing my pictures to go into Flickr," says I, "and it took ages.". Apparently if you just drop the photos into the uploader tool it offers to resize them for you. Doh!
