Chilly

It's cold up here. I could do with some different clothes, layers, wool shirts, that sort of thing. My jumpers all have v-necks or 3/4 length sleeves, my cardigan is the fluffiest cardigan in the universe and leaves multicoloured fluff all over everything (if it weren't so expensive it would make great hamster bedding), and if I wrap myself up in my duvet I can't reach to type. And I fall asleep in my snug duvet nest.

I'm risking the fluffigan at the moment, over a v-neck jumper. The sleeves are very lightweight, but come down just over my knuckles so keep the cold off my hands. A scarf would help for the rest.

However -
*stands up*
*inspects chair back*
*sees fluff*

If I wear this in to college they'll be able to track my movements by fluff deposits on chairs in lecture rooms.

EDIT: But so snug the fluffigan! My fingernails have gone pink again! And yet so thin, not an incapacitating swaddling Michelin-Man jumper at all! Oh, the hamster would ♥ it...

Now you know why I visit Marks and Spencer every year to buy more polo neck jumpers!

Do you know anyone who'd knit you a nice polo-neck jumper? My best winter jumpers were knitted for me.

You could of course collect all the fluffy discards and save them up to surprise the hamster with fresh bedding when there's enough to bed in...

That reminds me, must wash the swatch for your slippers. I think I might have to knit the next size down - my gauge is wrong.
