Remember when you were a kid, writing the dreaded thank-you letters on the nice notelets your aunt gave you for Christmas? "Blank inside for your message"

How about "Blank outside for your image" - blank-fronted notelets for you to draw a nice picture on, pre-printed inside with
Dear ________,
(delete as applicable)
* Thank you very much for the _________________, it was very nice/fun/interesting/delicious.
* Thank you for having me to stay, I particularly enjoyed _________

there were holiday postcards like this when I was a teenager that you could tick and pick - they were quite sweet

One of the sample programs in the Usborne computer books was for generating thank-you notes just like that.

I will use the _socks_ every day.

But could you make ASCII art to go on the front of the notelet?

Somewhere along the line I got carried away with the word content of the card, and forgot my main point of the idea was that you could draw a nice thank-you picture for your aunt instead of writing a letter.

why not do a bugshaw all purpose xmas present multiple choice thenk you letter ?

Dear friend / aunt / colleague/ weird stalker guy I think I may have snogged at xmas party after that double baileys and pernod,

Thank you for your lovely hand-crocheted mobile phone bag / thermal undies / joke drinking game / interesting battery operated device of unknown application...
