Quick Update

Just went to vote, now off to see The Day After Tomorrow. Except I had got confused, and should have gone to vote The Day After Tomorrow. Woops!

Good News: Consent Order was signed today! This formalises the settlement agreement with my stepmother, now Things really are pretty much All Over.

Uncle came to finish sorting out Great Uncle John's paintings - I am keeping 6-12, he has taken the rest for other bits of family or to get someone to look at. Have emptied the storage unit and signed it back to Pickford's.

I fell down the stairs - this is good news because it means my back is really better! Sort of a skid, and bump down the last three on my bottom. It hurts a bit, but I'm not crippled!

Am bit worried about Carrie Gerbil; she seems to be suffering from the heat (having forgotten that she is adapted for life in the desert) and to not be drinking. Have given her grape pieces, she nibbles the flesh and leaves (very tidily) an unbroken grape skin.

Feel odd. Court case over, paintings sorted, I've got a bit of assimilating to do.

And lucky you, you get to go and vote! I LOVE going to vote, and we're in one of these postal only jobbies. Plus they changed the ward boundaries. We did our voting at the breakfast table this morning, counter-signing each other's validations, and it just Was Not The Same.
