Sponsored Walk

Aha! I saw a poster for the MacMillan Cancer Support Sponsored Walk from Cambridge to Ely on May 4th, and I will sign up for that rather than the Oxfam walk on the grounds that Macmillan is the weekend before my exams and Oxfam is the week after and I don't trust my back to have recovered from the trip to Edinburgh. The walk is only 19 miles, but I can look forward to doing 26 next year :-)

Anyone want to join me/sponsor me?

We'll be glad to meet you for a pint when you get here. Right now, the only sponsoring that we can manage is sponsoring the mounting vet bills. But we love them and they are worth it.

When and where does the walk start/end? How are you getting home?

Dunno yet! I assumed train, but they may be putting on coaches. I don't know if I'll have work to go to on Monday in case you were thinking of putting me up and plying me with cider ;-) but I do have exams in Edinburgh the next Wednesday.
