A Bug's Life

Have requested a form D1 for a replacement driving licence, having eventually found my old form and found it to be out of date. With the new ones you can just write your passport number into a space, and they don't need to see the physical document. I know you can do this online, but as I need to replace it with a photocard and change my address and have not lived at the previous address they had on file for me for more than three years and they are retaining my paper licence it all gets a bit too complicated for that.

Now to dig out the bicycle, give it a bit of a poke, and try riding it round the block a bit. Squeee!

Later: picnic_meme This is a picnic meme. There will be an LJ picnic on Jesus Green, Cambridge, UK on Sunday the 22nd of June (today), from around 2pm. We'll meet toward the town end of Jesus Green, by Lower Park Street. Nobody is organising this; it'll just happen. Please turn up, be sensible, bring food and drink, meet new people, have fun.

I wonder if it would be antisocial to do Tai Chi practice while there. I've been walking through my nearest green spaces to find somewhere to practice, but the choice seems to be between knee-high grass and chin-high nettles :-) When will one man come to mow the meadow?
