(no subject)

Once every few months I fancy a bath. I run a bath; I lie in the hot, clear water with a full belly and a roof over my head and am thankful that I can have a bath whenever I like.

I am jealous.

I have no hot water.

I have a plumber visiting tomorrow.

£85 for the first half hour, plus parts of course.

Fucksake.

but actually I washed my hair today in cold water off the mains, and it felt good!

I have been known to take cold showers in summer.

Sometimes I really wish I could have a shower instead of a bath.

Can you get an over-the-taps converter thingy?

We've got one which is useful doing hair in the bath, but try to do anything else and water goes everywhere.

I never know until I get home whether I'm going to want a soaky bath or a cleansing shower post tai chi.
