I was thinking of making an icon for six positive things posts. I like the idea of featuring the dichromate ion - Cr2O72- (where chromium has an oxidation state of +6) but it's possibly a little obscure.

1. Enjoyed remembering A-Level Chemistry.
2. Booked Film Festival tickets, cunningly by phone instead of standing for a long time.
3. Using Stern Voice on letting agents; HTH.
4. Walked to the Job Centre to sign on. Waited ten minutes (doing some CV writing on my Eee while there), they saw me for 55 seconds.
5. Visited [livejournal.com profile] angua. She has a v neat-looking DVD of Australians doing Pirates of Penzance which I've never seen. Also, A MAGIC SOFA :-) :-) I only sat on it for an hour or so, and my back was much improved by the time I walked home :-)
6. Spotted car number 426 on the way home.

Also: have eaten dinner containing five portions of fruit/veg, and am going to curl up and finish reading Crowley/Beasts.

Which films did you book for? 5 portions in one meal is quite impressive.

Um, nineteen. Films, not portions in a meal.

I might list them in a separate post, including why I think they are will be exciting and/or worthy and/or bamboozling.

I'd be interested in your list. What did you eat, btw?

Half a shredded romaine lettuce, pile on the cherry tomatoes, some chopped beetroot, and mixed beans from-a-tin (containing several pulses, plus green beans and sweetcorn, so I'm counting that as 2). But for lunch I had two pitta breads with roast beef and no veg...

[livejournal.com profile] angua indeed has a sofa of greatness. She also does a good line in wine and party snacks, so you should come for DVDs sometime :)

I endorse this product and/or service :-)

I think the dichromate ion's a great idea. But then I'm a science geek.

Obscure is all right: your friends will associate it with the posts, even if we don't know/remember the connection. Or so I hope, as I fondly use one icon for most travel posts, one for food [that one is pretty straightforward], one for relationship stuff, etc.
