Unfortunately, I'm not managing that good a hit rate.

What is wrong with the day? I listed up all my errands and set off into town to get a chunk of things done.
1. Stop at bank to pay in rent cheque. Failed. Cheque is post-dated.
2. Go to Maplins to buy a cable with a BT plug at one end and an RJ45 plug at the other, to patch Naomi WINOLJ's phone line into our home CAT5 network. Failed. They don't exist. This confuses me, as we have one at home already.
3. Go to Sew Creative where all my lacemaking buddies buy their coloured thread, as I'm starting a seahorse on Wednesday. Failed. They have very few colours, they could order me some but I'd need to know the colour code I want. They don't have a colour chart for that thread.
*sigh*

Things picked up when I went to collect my new shoes from the shop. The lady was sorry about my blisters, and gave me a free jar of shoe cream! On the whole though, quite tiresome doing all these errands only to find I still need to do them :-(

I've an assortment of telephone plugs. Let me know which end you want male, which female, and I'll see what I've got.

2: You can plug an RJ-11 plug into an RJ-45 socket. Bt-socket-to-RJ-11 plugs are ten a penny.

I have one of those, but it didn't work. The thing that did work was using our BT/RJ45 cable for Naomi's phone. I guess I'll call up the people who installed the box.

Went to Blackwells to get filofax and contents for a new project. They don't do them anymore, and I don't want a notepad, however funky the cover.

BUT they did have a sale on, so I got a DVD of Frida and a Diabetic low-fat low-sugar cookbook, with staff discount the total was under a tenner.

Hoorah!

I went to buy a new pair of size 18 trousers at the weekend, but they were a bit too big!

Oh Well Done !! I have official weighing at the gym this evening, I fell off the wagon, through a ditch and over a cliff last week, so I'm not hopeful.
